This division of the Sandals Resort has made it a duty to not only visit schools but also infirmaries and community centres inclusive of the Open Heart Charitable Mission Centre, Hope Hospice and the Flankers senior citizens thereby reaching over 300 persons thus far.

Earlier in the month (December 12) the foundation in partnership with Hasbro Inc. brought cheer to the Bethiphil Basic School  where over 50 students were treated to cake and ice-cream and gifted with toys and back to school items for the upcoming school year.

The Sandals Foundation launched its “Inspire joy with a toy” initiative on December 7 from which 10,000 children across the Caribbean region have benefited. The mission will continue nigh the ending of the month in the communities of Canterbury, Flankers and Whitehouse in Montego Bay.

Look out for our review  of Inspire Joy with a Toy in Canterbury which takes place on Tuesday December 20.
